BACKGROUND: Patients treated with neoadjuvant chemotherapy (NACT) for advanced high-grade serous ovarian carcinoma (HGSC) have a higher rate and shorter time to platinum-resistant recurrence compared to patients treated with primary cytoreductive surgery (PCS) and adjuvant chemotherapy.
