Long-term cyclosporine (CsA) therapy is accompanied by the occurrence of hypercholesterolemia and renal interstitial fibrosis. The present study investigates the effect of dietary cholesterol on CsA-induced lipid disturbances in the rat and on CsA nephrotoxicity.
