To clarify the role of genes related to angiotensin-I converting enzyme (ACE), the author investigated polymorphism of the ACE gene in 60 patients undergoing chronic ambulatory peritoneal dialysis (CAPD) and 50 patients undergoing hemodialysis (HD).
