Forty clinical isolates of Escherichia coli and 141 isolates of Klebsiella pneumoniae that either transferred ceftazidime resistance or showed sulbactam enhancement of oxyimino-beta-lactam susceptibility were tested by disk diffusion methodology for susceptibility to aztreonam, cefotaxime, ceftazidime, and cefoxitin.
