Fibroblast growth factors (FGF) are known to participate in the processes of embryogenesis and angiogenesis. This study was undertaken to examine the transcriptional and posttranscriptional regulation of the FGF receptor 1 (FGFR-1) subclass in the embryonic rat kidney.
