The pharmacokinetics and efficacy of isepamicin were compared with those of amikacin and gentamicin in a rabbit model of endocarditis due to Klebsiella pneumoniae CF104 producing beta-lactamase TEM-3 and aminoglycoside acetyltransferase AAC(6')-IV.
