31P NMR studies were carried out on the parental drug-sensitive human T-lymphoblastoid cell line CCRI-CEM (CEM) and its multi-drug-resistant (MDR) CEM-VBL100 variants, to assess the role of the pentose phosphate (PP) in MDR expression.
