Forty-six strains of fluorescent pseudomonads, isolated from natural mineral waters, together with 12 strains from clinical material and 44 reference strains, were phenotypically classified by 281 characteristics. The data were processed by the Dice similarity coefficient and unweighted pair group algorithm with arithmetic averages. Eight clusters were defined at the 62% similarity level.
