Sodium glucose cotransporter-2 (SGLT2) inhibitors are a class of antidiabetics with benefits including HbA1c-lowering, weight loss, cardiovascular and renal protection in addition to adverse effects including genitourinary tract infections, ketoacidosis, and bone loss.
