BACKGROUND: Cystic fibrosis related diabetes (CFRD) is a common complication in people with cystic fibrosis (PwCF), yet traditional diagnostic tools such as fasting glucose, HbA1c, and the oral glucose tolerance test (OGTT) often fail to detect early dysglycemia.
