Tyramine beta-hydroxylase (Tbh) is required for octopamine synthesis. To better understand the function of Tbh in neurotransmitter synthesis in Drosophila melanogaster, we analyzed the molecular genetic organization of the Tbh gene and found that it encodes multiple transcripts.
