The classical BCR::ABL-negative myeloproliferative neoplasms (MPN) include polycythemia vera, essential thrombocythemia, and primary myelofibrosis. They are acquired clonal disorders of hematopoietic stem cells leading to hyperplasia of one or several myeloid lineages.
