Mutations in isocitrate dehydrogenase isoform 1 (IDH1) are primarily found in secondary glioblastoma (GBM) and low-grade glioma but are rare in primary GBM. The standard treatment for GBM includes radiation combined with temozolomide, an alkylating agent.
