In non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC), the overexpression or abnormal activation of epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) is associated with tumor progression and drug resistance. EGFR tyrosine kinase inhibitors (TKIs) are currently the first-line treatment of NSCLC.
