Gliclazide metabolism is mediated by genetically polymorphic CYP2C9 and CYP2C19 enzymes. We investigated the effects of CYP2C9 and CYP2C19 genetic polymorphisms on the pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics of gliclazide.
