PURPOSE: Epithelioid hemangioendothelioma (EHE) is a vascular sarcoma caused by the WWTR1(TAZ)-CAMTA1 (TC) gene fusion. This fusion gene has been observed in almost all reported EHE cases and functions as a constitutively activated TAZ.
