Molecular chaperon SERPINA3 colocalizes with accumulated amyloid peptide in Alzheimer's disease (AD) patient's brain. From the QTL analysis, we narrowed down Serpina3 with two SNPs in senescence-accelerated mouse prone (SAMP) 8 strain.
