In multiple myeloma (MM), frequent mutations of NRAS, KRAS, or BRAF are found in up to 50% of newly diagnosed patients. The majority of the NRAS, KRAS, and BRAF mutations occur in hotspots causing constitutive activation of the corresponding proteins.
