Meropenem-vaborbactam resistance in Klebsiella pneumoniae isolates is associated with loss-of-function mutations in the OmpK35 and OmpK36 porins. We identify two previously unknown loss-of-function mutations that confer cefuroxime resistance in K. pneumoniae isolates.
