Both environmental and genetic factors interact and play a critical role in the pathogenesis of endometriosis. We analyzed the plasma levels of 12 polychlorinated biphenyl (PCB) congeners with genetic polymorphisms of glutathione-S-transferase M1 (GSTM1), glutathione-S-transferase T1 (GSTT1), and aryl hydrocarbon receptor repressor (AhRR) codon 185.
