OBJECTIVE: Pyrin-Associated Autoinflammation with Neutrophilic Dermatosis (PAAND) is a recently described monogenic autoinflammatory disease. The causal p.S242R MEFV mutation disrupts a binding motif of the regulatory 14-3-3 proteins within pyrin.
