To explore the prognostic factors and discuss the surgical indications of brainstem gangliogliomas. Twenty-one patients with brainstem ganglioglioma were surgically treated at our hospital between 2006 and 2014. The clinical, radiological, operative, and pathological findings of these patients were retrospectively reviewed.
