Sézary syndrome, the leukemic variant of cutaneous T-cell lymphoma, is still an enigmatic disease with a fatal prognosis. Recent research, however, has identified a multitude of dysregulated molecular pathways that contribute to malignant transformation and therapy resistance of Sézary cells (SC).
