A Chinese man who had undergone a curative high anterior resection for sigmoid cancer was administrated XELOX (capecitabine and oxaliplatin) as postoperative adjuvant chemotherapy. He subsequently developed sinusoidal obstruction syndrome (SOS) that resolved on discontinuation of XELOX treatment.
