UNLABELLED: Objectives In bronchopulmonary dysplasia (BPD), direct exposure to oxygen therapy can damage the pulmonary epithelium via oxidative stress. The NAD(P)H: quinone oxidoreductase 1 (NQO1) enzyme detoxifies genotoxic products of oxidative stress.
