INTRODUCTION: Non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) is characterized by poor prognosis and only a few molecular markers may be potentially used to predict the outcome. Metabolic reprogramming is a hallmark of cancer, including the alterations of tricarboxylic acid (TCA) cycle key enzymes.
