PURPOSE OF REVIEW: GATA2 deficiency is a germline disease that causes a wide spectrum of phenotypes including viral and bacterial infections, cytopenias, myelodysplasia, myeloid leukemias, pulmonary alveolar proteinosis and lymphedema.
