Abstract excerpt
Lactobacillus fermentum isolated from sourdough was able to produce riboflavin. Spontaneous roseoflavin-resistant mutants were obtained by exposing the wild strain (named L. fermentum PBCC11) to increasing concentrations of roseoflavin.
