PURPOSE: We sought to identify predictive biomarkers for a novel nicotinamide phosphoribosyltransferase (NAMPT) inhibitor. EXPERIMENTAL DESIGN: We use a NAMPT inhibitor, GNE-617, to evaluate nicotinic acid rescue status in a panel of more than 400 cancer cell lines.
