AIM: To establish novel intestinal myofibroblast (IMF) cell lines from mouse colonic mucosa and investigate their biological characters. METHODS: Primary IMFs were isolated from mucosal tissues of mouse colon that was denuded of epithelial cells and smooth muscle layer.
