The present studies have evaluated the effect of age on the induction of syngeneic graft-versus-host disease (SGVHD) after syngeneic bone marrow transplantation (BMT) and cyclosporine (CsA) therapy. The results clearly document an inverse correlation of age with the incidence of SGVHD.
