STUDY QUESTION: Is there a relationship between DNA damage and numerical chromosome abnormalities in the sperm of infertile patients? SUMMARY ANSWER: A strong link between DNA fragmentation and the presence of numerical chromosome abnormalities was detected in human sperm.
