OBJECTIVE: To evaluate the association of IL28B polymorphisms and severity of liver disease among human immunodeficiency virus (HIV)/hepatitis C virus (HCV) coinfected patients. METHODS: We carried out a cross-sectional study on 223 patients. Liver biopsies were evaluated according to Metavir score.
