Cell line PER-315 was established from a bone marrow sample of a 5-year-old boy diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) of T cell lineage. PER-315 cells express the surface markers present on immature thymocytes, express cytoplasmic CD3, and their growth is dependent on interleukin-2 (IL-2).
