A 23-year-old teacher presented to hospital with a mild case of varicella. VZV vaccine strain vOka that resembles Varilrix but not Varivax or Biken strains was isolated from the skin lesion of the patient and was identified by single nucleotide polymorphism (SNP) analysis.
