Left ventricular outflow tract obstruction (LVOTO) comprises a spectrum of stenotic lesions. Previous studies have shown that the vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) signaling system plays a critical role in cardiac cushion formation, vasculogenesis, and angiogenesis.
