Sixteen recipient-donor pairs who underwent unrelated BMT were analyzed for their HLA-class II identity by DNA-RFLP, in order to evaluate the importance of the genotypic HLA-DR, DQ, DP identity in the clinical outcome of unrelated bone marrow transplantation.
