The emergence of carbapenem-hydrolysing metallo-beta-lactamases (MBLs) is a serious threat to the clinical utility of carbapenems. This study identified plasmid- and integron-borne bla(IMP-1) and bla(IMP-10) in clinical isolates of Serratia marcescens.
