Since the double Deltagrx1Deltagrx2 mutant is hypersensitive to selenite we decided to evaluate mechanisms underlying this phenomenon and establish the roles of other components of yeast glutaredoxin system, in particular glutaredoxin 5 in the selenite resistance.
