Genetic influence on the development of granulomatous tissue reaction was investigated in C57BL/6 mice. Granulomas developed in the skin of euthymic C57BL/6 mice by transplantation of lyophilized hepatic granulomas were excised and lyophilized. The tissue mass free of parasite egg antigen and living cells was grafted into the skin of euthymic, athymic (nu/nu), and beige (bg/bg) C57BL/6 mice. Histological changes...
