Brazilians represent one of the most heterogeneous populations in the world as the result of five centuries of interethnic crosses. We investigated the polymorphism of the HLA-G locus in a Brazilian urban sample. HLA-G alleles were determined by SBT analysis of exons 2-4 and 8 in 103 unrelated individuals.
