The phenotypic markers of mononuclear cells in synovial tissue from 19 patients with active rheumatoid arthritis (RA) were identified by a dual immunofluorescent method. The mononuclear cells were isolated from synovial tissue by mechanical disaggregation and an enzymatic digestion technique.
