Reeler mice are a model of cortical malformation with enhanced seizure susceptibility. Data suggest that the propensity to anesthesia-induced seizures may be enhanced in animal models with developmental anomalies. Consequently, reeler mice were monitored behaviorally before, during and after isoflurane anesthesia.
