OBJECTIVE: To extract the relevant SNPs for alcoholism using sib-pair IBD profiles of pedigrees. METHODS: We used the ensemble decision approach, a supervised learning approach based on decision forests, to locate alcoholism relevant SNPs using genome-wide SNP data.
