Ultrasound biomicroscopy (UBM)-Doppler allows study of cardiovascular physiology in the in utero mouse embryo from embryonic day (E)8.25 onward. We determined the accuracy of localization of embryos by transabdominal, noninvasive 40-MHz UBM-Doppler imaging.
