Doubled haploid (DH) genotypes from a genetic mapping population of Brassica oleracea were screened for ease of transformation. Candidate genotypes were selected based on prior knowledge of three phenotypic markers: susceptibility to Agrobacterium tumefaciens, shoot regeneration potential and mode of shoot regeneration.
