Eight dinucleotide microsatellites were developed in Eucalyptus sieberi L. Johnson (silvertop ash), a member of the subgenus Eucalyptus. Transfer of six of these to the subgenus Symphyomyrtus and their Mendelian inheritance are demonstrated using a full-sib cross in Eucalyptus nitens.
