Wyeth-Lederle, Aviron and NIH are developing a live intranasal parainfluenza virus (PIV) type 3 vaccine (cp45 vaccine). The vaccine is in phase II/III trials with Aviron [411386], and phase I trials with Wyeth-Lederle [408940].
