OBJECTIVE: Previous studies have reported modest associations between measures of obesity and the Trp64-Arg variant of the beta3-adrenergic receptor (ADRbeta3) and the Pro12Ala variant of the peronisome proliferator-activated receptor (PPAR)-gamma2.
