Three strains of inbred mice, C57BL/6J (C57), CBA/Lac (CBA), and BALB/c (BALB) were examined in the elevated plus-maze after the injection of an anxiotropic drug, a 5-HT1A agonist ipsapirone (3 mg/kg; i.p.; 30 min).
